The largest literary mural in Kraków (covering 450 sqm) was painted as part of the Conrad Festival on the façade of a former salt warehouse in 2013. It is composed of quotations from poems by Polish and Icelandic poets, and includes excerpts from works by Ewa Lipska, Adam Zagajewski, Agnieszka Wolny-Hamkało, Sjón, Óskar Árni Óskarsson, Kristín Svava Tómasdóttir, and Ingunn Snædal. Designed by Paulina Lichwicka, with its toned down colour range, the mural makes reference to the Icelandic landscape. It took eight days to complete, and the 27 people working on it used 250 litres of paint and ate 11.3 kg of thin Polish sausage (kabanos).
