7xGospel 2017 Festival
Thursday, October 12, 2017 - Sunday, October 22, 2017
The first step is always the hardest, according to the organisers of the 12th 7xGospel Festival. Join us to discover that gospel music is about much more than singing, dancing and clapping! Between 12 and 22 October, there will be workshops, concerts, inspiring meetings and – first and foremost – priceless, boundless positive energy. “You don’t need to be musically educated to join our choir workshops. Instead of singing from scores, we sing from our hearts,” promise festival organisers. Age, gender and class all go out of the window – anyone can sing the Good News! Workshops are tailored especially for seniors, kids aged between 5 and 12 years old, mums with toddlers up to 3 years old, and men. There will also be something for fans of dance with choreography workshops including elements of sing language, and sessions for anyone wishing to try their hand on percussion.
The finale concert at Kijów.Centrum brings back participants in all workshops to present their latest vocal and choreographic abilities. They are joined by international guests including the Pentecostals of Katy, Shara McKee, Siobhan & Olrick Coker, and Colin Vassell. The atmosphere will be international and joyful, so cast aside shyness or ceremony and join us! (Artur Jackowski, "Karnet" magazine)
