Bees have been making honey for around 150 million years. To produce just 0.3 kg, they have to fly 88,500 kilometres and rest on two million flowers. We’ll discover the secrets of beekeeping during the 25th Kraków Honey Harvest. Between 7 and 9 September (9am-7pm), the Wolnica Square hosts producers of delicious honeys and other apiary products, and we will learn about their medicinal and cosmetic properties. The exhibition Bees Speak to Us introduces the lives and behaviour of these fascinating insects and the threats they face, while at noon on 8 September a Bee Parade sets off from the Main Market Square to Wolnica Square, accompanied by an orchestra.
