Dance Transformations

What are transformations? Living in the contemporary world, filled with state-of-the-art technologies, do we constantly change and evolve? How does this affect our (meta)physicality? These questions are being posed by the organisers of the BalletOFFFestival 2018 (22-25 November), with artists from Poland and abroad coming together to look for answers. As well as traditional residencies by the Kraków Choreography Centre, an important part of this year’s event is the project by the International Contemporary Dance Company 2018-2020 (iCoDaCo): choreographers and producers from Sweden, Hungary, Wales, Hong Kong and Poland join forces to create a spectacle premiering during the festival. The stage of the Nowa Huta Cultural Centre welcomes leading dancers and choreographers from all over the globe, including Jefta van Dinther with the spectacle Dark Field Analysis, Fernando Belfiore and his project D3US/X\M4CHIN4 intertwining dance and multimedia, and Petra Tejnorová and Jaro Viňarský with You Are Here.
