German Film Week 2022
Friday, January 21, 2022 - Thursday, January 27, 2022
Unfamiliar with the cinematography of our neighbours from beyond the Oder? The German Film Week is a perfect opportunity to discover the latest productions!
The programme features two films which premiered at the most recent Berlinale: Dominik Graf’s Fabian. Going to the Dogs and Daniel Brühl’s Next Door. Although they are set almost a century apart, the problems faced by their protagonists – residents of Berlin – are surprisingly similar. Anne Zohra Berrached explores the problems faced by refugees in Copilot telling the moving story of the family of one of the terrorists involved in the 9/11 attack. Let’s discover a different, fascinating point of view of German filmmakers from myriad social and cultural backgrounds!
