67th Kraków All Souls “Zaduszki” Jazz Festival
Wednesday, October 26, 2022 - Saturday, October 29, 2022
Thoughtful Jazz
Kraków’s ties with jazz date back decades, in part thanks to the All Souls “Zaduszki” Jazz Festival. One of the longest-running events of its kind in Europe refreshed its formula last year, and continues along this path during four evenings held under the banner “Let’s Jazz the World”. The inaugural concert at the Małopolska Garden of Arts features young musicians Paweł Kaczmarczyk with his trio and Aga Derlak with her septet; the following evening, the Nowa Huta Cultural Centre resounds with legends of Poland’s music stage Ewa Bem and Stanisław Soyka. The event welcomes the American Grammy-winner Judith Hill performing at Studio. The festival closes at the Juliusz Słowacki Theatre with the Kraków Jazz Gala, the prize-giving ceremony of the Golden Helikon Prize and a performance by the pianist Leszek Możdżer.
