The Kraków Opera cherishes the tradition of annual New Year's Eve concerts and this year welcomes all music lovers at the Ball at the Opera! The title of the concert relates to the atmosphere at Kraków's opera house on the last day of the year but also is a reminder of the once popular tradition of masked balls.
Masks, costumes or disguises are one of the most beloved motifs of libretti of many operas and operettas, therefore the guests of the Kraków Opera concert are asked to bring their own masks withthem as an obligatory garment accessory.
