Björk: Cornucopia at Tauron Arena Kraków

Worlds Colliding
To call her an “artist of many faces” would be a huge understatement, and her voice – spanning an incredible three octaves – is instantly recognised. Björk released her first (platinum!) album when she was just 11 years old. As a teenager she fronted a punk band, performed with a group whose music would be best described as fusion, and reached global acclaim with her rock group The Sugarcubes. She eventually chose a solo career and has spent the last three decades exploring genres from pop, trip-hop, electronica, avant-garde all the way to classical. Her tour Cornucopia intertwines myriad ideas of the Icelandic artist and presents a clash of worlds finessed on the albums Utopia and Fossora. The multimedia spectacle features digital visualisations and stage settings, and Björk is accompanied by an ensemble of flute, clarinet, harp, percussion, electronic instruments and many others custom-made especially for the show.
