2021 brings brand-new challenges and great hopes of returning to cultural life – in a stronger, more experienced format!

This year’s celebrations of the centenary of the birth of Stanisław Lem is the perfect opportunity to immerse ourselves in his legendary science fiction novels and short stories. Jacek Cygan’s birthday is marked with a concert streamed on PLAY KRAKÓW. We take a look at theatres in the city and review nominations for this year’s Oscars. Kraków’s museums are preparing new exhibitions: the recently renovated branch of the Museum of Photography at the historic villa at 16 Józefitów Street is readying itself for a grand reopening, while Wawel Royal Castle presents an exhibition of textile masterpieces from the collections of King Sigismund August. It may be winter, but there is nature and folklore to explore and plenty to do in the city for kids and adults alike!
