3rd Kraków Dance Festival

The Kraków Dance Festival is a brand-new initiative by the Kraków Choreography Centre, bringing together three of its existing brands – the SPACER Contemporary Dance Festival, the 3…2…1…DANCE! choreography competition and the BalletOFFFestival – into a single international event with a wider scope. It will be held every summer at the Nowa Huta Cultural Centre.
The aim of the festival is to elevate the significance of contemporary dance, explore its depth and interdisciplinary potential, encourage discussion among participants versus the arts, and foster the creative potential of dancers, choreographers and performers.
The review is preceded by artistic residences, with premieres of performances held during the festival. The programme also features dance workshops with instructors from Poland and abroad for participants of all levels and ages, dance spectacles, discussion panels and accompanying events.
