26th International Book Fair in Krakow

The Polish Senate has designated 2023 as the Year of Wisława Szymborska. The 100th anniversary of Szymborska’s birth is a perfect moment to talk about the continuing relevance of her poetry and her way of seeing the world. This is why the 26th International Book Fair in Kraków decided to adopt a quote from her poem “Birthday” as its official motto.
