In pop music, the boundary between a great hit and a forgettable tune can be incredibly fine. What’s needed is a catchy vocal, guitar riff or the right beat to hook the listener and become memorable. Jason Derulo has a real talent for writing such motifs, having released dozens (!) of singles and four albums over the course of 14 years. Even though a misunderstanding with his record label has delayed the release of his fifth album, the American singer isn’t sitting idle and popularises his tracks on TikTok, where he has close to 60 million followers. Derulo has already performed twice in Poland, at New Year’s Eve events in Warsaw and Zakopane. This time he appears in Kraków a few weeks before the end of the year. (Bartosz Suchecki, Kraków Culture)
