27th International Book Fair in Krakow
Thursday, October 24, 2024, 10:00 AM-5:00 PM
‘Drop the masks! Become ordinary humans!’ this is the motto of this year’s edition of the largest publishing and bookselling event in this part of Poland, taken from Witold Gombrowicz's Operetta, which was chosen as the patron of 2024 by the Senate of the Republic of Poland. His books will inspire us to seek authenticity (not only in literature), break conventions and defy stereotypes – such an approach will be present during meetings, lectures and discussions with the invited authors, also as part of accompanying events, including the Women’s Literature Festival, the Dark Stories Festival, Young Adult Literature Meetings and Meetings with Fantasy. At the stands of publishing houses from Poland and abroad, you will find the freshest items straight from the printing house. A Children’s Literature Zone with authors’ meetings, workshops and competitions has been prepared for the youngest readers.
