In the concert series Anaklasis on a Roll, we have already listened to contemporary interpretations of works by Moniuszko, Szymanowski or Różycki. The final meeting in the series goes even deeper: to a manuscript from the Krasiński Library dated on the first half of the 15th century and regarded as the most valuable Polish source of medieval polyphonic music. Violin virtuoso Adam Bałdych (in the photo) undertook the arrangement of the pieces taken from the manuscript and was joined by clarinettist Michał Górczyński, a member of the Kwartludium ensemble, and Ensemble Peregrina under the direction of Agnieszka Budzińska-Bennett, which specialises in early music. The Kraków concert Laeta mundus, where the material will be heard in public for the first time, will also be the premiere of the eponymously titled album.
