This year’s theme for Kraków’s Museum Night - Museums. Connecting People – ties in with the theme of International Museum Day 2026, which takes place three days later: Museums Uniting a Divided World. The International Council of Museums (ICOM) emphasises the vital role of museums in contemporary world, highlighting that ‘instead of blurring and obscuring the differences, they foster conditions in which they can be understood and treated with respect’. Night-time tours of the exhibitions are scheduled at dozens of venues across the city; advance booking will be required for many of the events.
