The perfect destination for leisurely summer walks and relaxation, especially for the people of Nowa Huta. A great place for sport, outdoor fun for children, and a popular spot with anglers. Operating here is a canoe, boat, and pedalo rental point, while aficionados of the two-wheeled bike are welcome to make use of the kilometres of cycle paths in the park surrounding the reservoir.

The Zalew Nowohucki Reservoir is located on ul. Bulwarowa, between osiedle Szkolne residential district and the premises of the steelworks. Together with the park, it covers 15 ha (40 acres). The reservoir boasts an isle; known as Małpi Gaj (literally: “monkeys’ woods”) it is home to rare plant and animal species.
