The centre of Kraków is covered with paid parking zones (P) operating from Mon to Sat from 10am to 8pm, exluding followin days:

• 1 January – New Year's Day
• Easter Monday
• 1 November – All Saints' Day
• 24 December
• 25 December – Christmas Day
• 26 December – Boxing Day

Fares (tickets to be printed in parking machines):

• in subzones A – PLN 6 for the first and each of the following hours
• in subzones B – PLN 5 for the first and each of the following hours
• in subzones C – PLN 4 for the first and each of the following hours

Additionally, a pedestrian-only zone was defined within the P1 limited parking zone; it is marked A, and allows no vehicular axis, as it is designed solely for pedestrians and cyclists. There is also the limited traffic zone marked B that allows access of cars with special IDs only. Pedestrians have absolute right of way within the B zone, and the maximum vehicular speed is limited to 20 kph (12 mph).
