Tourist Information Centres
The Tourist Information Centres in Kraków are places where qualified staff, who are very familiar with the city’s tourist attractions, provide visitors with practical information and advice on sightseeing and stays in Kraków. Their services are available to visitors and local residents keen to explore the city, its attractions, events and offerings.
Tourist Information Centres provide information on:
- Kraków’s most important attractions and monuments,
- museums, exhibitions and cultural events,
- city tours and guided sightseeing tours,
- public transit and getting around Kraków,
- attractions for families with children,
- current events and activities taking place in the city,
- walking routes and suggested trips around Małopolska.
At the Centres, you can pick up free information leaflets about Kraków and Małopolska, as well as purchase guidebooks and maps, children’s books about Kraków, souvenirs and postcards.
The Centres are currently operating at two locations - at the Potocki Palace (Rynek Główny 20) and at Szpitalna 25. They are open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (except on 1 January, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday, 1 November, as well as 25 and 26 December).
The Tourist Information Centres are run by the Kraków Tourism Alliance - an association bringing together all kinds of organisations to promote and develop sustainable tourism in Kraków.
