Let’s Play Kraków!
7 July 2016
The inventive, colourful map tells the city’s most fascinating stories in Polish and English. The Official City Game Let’s Play Kraków takes participants to the most fascinating places in the city. It suggests the most important tourist spots, reveals the best places to spend free time, uncovers the finest panoramas and – most importantly – presents awards for discovering hidden sites in Kraków.
Use the map to find the city’s largest synagogue and learn which year Wawel Castle became one of Europe’s key centres of power. The map reveals the city’s tastiest symbol, points the way to the original site of the Jagiellonian Library and introduces some of the most famous graduates from the Jagiellonian University.
And there’s plenty of prizes to be won! Go to sites marked on the map to collect stamps – once you have the full set, you can claim excellent discounts!
Project partners include the MOCAK Museum of Contemporary Art in Kraków, the Galicia Jewish Museum, the Historical Museum of the City of Kraków, the National Museum in Kraków, the Aqua Park, Hard Rock Café Kraków, the CiuCiu Cukier Artist – world’s smallest sweet factory, and McDonald’s.
You’ll find the “Let’s Play Kraków: The Official City Game” at all InfoKraków tourist information centres and selected restaurants, hotels and partners.
