Jerzy Bawoł (accordion), Tomasz Kukurba (viola) and Tomasz Lato (double bass) have been on the road for 25 years – their ensemble Kroke continues to cross boundaries between states, cultures, traditions, genres, styles… They perform on their own or with guests, such as Anna Maria Jopek, Tomasz Stańko, Nigel Kennedy, the Norwegian ensemble Tindra and the Mongolian vocalist Urna Chahar Tugchi. They celebrate their silver anniversary with their latest album Traveller, released in March; material from the record resounds at the Kraków Opera on 24 April. This time their companions on their musical voyages will be the percussionist Sławomir Berny and the string quartet Dafô.
