A Fresh Loaf of Jazz

The 7th Młyn Jazz Festival attracts some of the hottest names in the field! The stars of this year’s event, held between 6 and 8 July in Jaroszowice near Wadowice, are Herbie Hancock, Dianne Reeves, Chris Botti, John Scofield and The Brand New Heavies. The worldwide stars are joined by Polish musicians including Stanisław Sojka & Wojciech Karolak Trio, Marta Król and Paweł Tomaszewski Group (Tribute to The Police) and Maria Sadowska with her project Jazz on the Streets.

In days gone by, the venue ground and sifted grain for flour – today, the Jacek Młyn is a popular hotel and spa and home to one of the major jazz festivals in southern Poland. (Artur Jackowski, "Karnet" magazine)
