Indulgence: Emmaus

On Easter Monday (17 April), Zwierzyniec district hosts Kraków’s largest and Poland’s oldest indulgence: Emmaus. Stalls are crammed with sweets, toys and balloons – and look out for traditional Jewish figurines and trees of life declaring the arrival of spring.
